APS warehouse grocery unsaleables Benchmarking

The intent of At-Store Reclamation is to provide a management system to reduce unsaleables. A key part of this is benchmarking.

The benchmark is a formula:

Number of unsaleable items for every $10,000 worth of dry grocery, frozen grocery, GM & HABA sales. This allows stores of varying sizes to be compared on an equal level for unsaleables.

What is the Benchmark?

Based on stores currently in reclamation, the grocery manufacturers and distributors have agreed on 10.5 items per $10,000 sales as the benchmark. Stores below the average are acceptable; those above are unacceptable.
